This section of the website provides information on our GBR International Programmes, England National Teams, International structures, selection policies and other important information.
British Fencing is responsible for our Great Britain Teams at Senior, Junior and Cadet level and for our World Class Programme, which deals withthose athletes who are funded for the London Olympic Games.
Our Talent Development Programme which provides the foundation for our National Teams is the British Fencing National Academy. Information on the Academy can be found by clicking on the Academy header above.
England Fencing is responsible for the England Teams at Senior, Junior and Cadet level which attend the Commonwealth Games and Home Country Internationals.
The World Class Programme is the UK Sport funded programme which aims to win gold medals at Olympic level.
The World Class Programme is also responsible for managing the Senior GBR programme.
The GBR Youth Programme (Cadet and Juniors) is managed and operated by the International Youth Committee on behalf of British Fencing.
