There are numerous ways of raising money and generating income through membership fees, from sponsored walks and car boot sales to attracting commercial sponsorship and applying for grants.  The ideas are endless and only limited by your own imagination.  But before you jump in and start raising money – think about what you are raising money for.
You may want to raise money to:
- deliver more activities in schools and the community
- buy new equipment
- put more people through coaching courses
- take fencers abroad to experience more international competition
- provide new tracksuits
- recruit and train more referees
- pay volunteer expenses
- buy marketing leaflets
- improve the website and pay for hosting costs
