FIE World Cup Season continues with the second Epee Grand Prix in Budapest
The senior international season continues on the 20th March with a men’s and women’s epee Grand Prix in Budapest.
Men’s Epee
The second of three epee Grand Prix events this season kicks off with the men’s competition on Friday. The first round begins at 10am (GMT) and will include Greg Allen, Philip Marsh and Nick Perry who will be representing Great Britain in a massive field of 296 fencers. The preliminary direct elimination will take place shortly after the poules with the round of 64 beginning on Sunday.
Women’s Epee
Mary Cohen, Corinna Lawrence, Abbi Matthews and Katrina Smith will be representing Great Britain in the women’s event which begins on Saturday. Like the men’s event, the preliminary knockout fights will take place after the poules on Saturday with the round of 64 beginning on Sunday.
