2021-22 GBR SELECTION POLICY – BOARD APPROVED

Following a member consultation the 2021-2022 GBR Selection Policy was published by BF on 22nd July 2021 and this policy has now been approved by the Board. 

The 2021-2022 GBR Selection Policy now covers all of the key competitive age groups from U17s through to Seniors. You can read the approved selection policy below:

Key Adjustments (Reminder)

• Consolidated multiple selection documents into a single document for all age categories.
• Standardised automatic qualification standards to compete for GBR at Major Championships for all ages, where applicable.
• Reflected the proposed changes set out in the new Ranking Scheme proposals for 2021-22 (e.g., Under 23 Ranking Scheme and recognition of EFC Under 23 events).
• Added clauses allowing greater flexibility for the impact of COVID-19 on events and athletes.
