The performance data used to inform selections for 2025 Cadet, Junior, U23, and Senior major championships has now been updated to reflect the additional qualification criteria first introduced in the 2023-24 GBR Selection policy.
The following clause in the 2024-25 GBR Selection Policy (53. e) was originally amended as part of the 2023-24 consultation:
For season 2024-25 due to the increasing rate of cancellation and re-locations in the FIE and EFC calendar and the reduction in numbers of international competitions being held in Europe, from season 2024-25 the final individual placing percentages will be best three from ALL nominated competitions in same competitive category in the previous 12 months.
The 12 months is calculated back from the selection point for each Major Championship.

Athletes, parents, coaches, and club officials are advised to read the selection policy and make themselves aware of the change coming into effect. Athletes meeting selection standards are advised to review their competition planning to ensure they are positioned in the correct part of the rankings at the relevant selection points. Selection points can be found on the GBR Calendars.
