COACH REQUIRED: IMPERIAL COLLEGE FENCING CLUB

Imperial College Fencing Club are looking for a sabre coach to start for the 2024/25 academic year. 

Venue: 7 Prince’s Gardens, South Kensington, London SW7 1NA

Times: 2024/25 Academic year Terms 1 and 2 on Mondays from 6pm to 8pm (2 hours per week for 44 weeks).

Imperial College Fencing Club are looking for a sabre coach to bring the standard of sabre fencing up to a higher level, as well as introduce novices to sabre.

The club works with students of all abilities, ranging from novices to fencers competing on a national level. They have one bronze medal in this year’s BUCS Individuals competitions in sabre.

Coaches are required to do the following:

• Lead warm-up sessions, focusing on footwork and bladework.
• 1-1 private lessons.
• Must have level 2 coaching qualification (minimum) for sabre.

Salary: £45.00/hour, with a total of 44 hours throughout the year (subject to change).
