EFC/FIE CALENDAR UPDATE – JWS, JMS, SWS, SMS

EFC Calendar update: The Fencing For Everyone Sabre Event in Munich (GER) has changed to 23/11/24 – 24/11/24, and the FIE Calendar update: SMS and SWS World Cup in Salt Lake City (USA) has been cancelled.

Please note the following updates in the calendar 2024-2025:

• • The Fencing for Everyone Sabre competition in Munich, a date change from 16th -17th November 2024  to new dates 23rd-24th November 2024
  • The Senior Women’s and Men’s Sabre World Cup, which was to be held from 23rd to 26th January 2025 in Salt Lake City, has been cancelled. The FIE will confirm a new venue.

The competitions have been added to the BF Master Calendar.

Please note that changes may still occur. All calendars (FIE, EFC, and BF) will be subject to change, and in some cases, this may happen at very short notice due to circumstances outside of BF’s control.

The Selection Point date is when the ranking data is locked, and the selection process begins. See the GBR Selection Timelines here.

General Reminders for all FIE & EFC events

FIE & EFC Licenses must be purchased via the BF membership platform. Participating in these events requires this. For more information, click here.

Passport expiration dates should be checked to ensure that the country the athletes are visiting will allow them to enter with a sufficient length.
