SABRE COACH REQUIRED: MX FENCING CLUB

MX Fencing Club is looking for a BF registered sabre coach in Sevenoaks/West Kent.

MX Fencing Club is recruiting a coach to train fencers, with sessions currently held in Sevenoaks, Kent, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights.

We are looking for a sabre coach ready to steer a highly motivated club that is a feeder for the British Cadet and Junior Squads, with a great track record and collegial family community. Fencers at the club are highly motivated to extend their training and proficiency.

Our sessions run three nights a week, currently on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, for beginner and senior athletes including children, youths and adults. Other nights could be possible.

We are flexible on the number of nights to be covered. We are also keen to hear from anyone who is able to offer occasional cover for sessions.

We are looking for someone who can:

• Liaise with our head coach to ensure a collaborative approach to training
• Coach athletes in competitions in the UK and overseas, including the Leon Paul Junior competitions and the Cadet and Junior circuit
• Advise and support athletes on personal development plans and external training
• Where possible and if required, assist in additional holiday training, or participation in international camps as a club

Requirements:

Minimum Level 2 sabre coaching qualification.
Ideally already on the British Fencing coaching register.
