GB Fencers head to Torun, Poland for last major event ahead of Rio 2016
British Fencing today announced the athletes selected to represent Great Britain at the Senior European Fencing Championships to be held in Torun, Poland 20th – 25th June 2016.
The following athletes have been selected:-
Men’s Foil Individual and Team

Men’s Sabre Individual

Curtis Miller
Jonathan Webb
Men’s Sabre Team

Speaking about the selections, British Fencing’s Performance Director, Alex Newton said; “For the Men’s Foil team, the Europeans is the final preparation competition before the Games in Rio and therefore we will be maximising this opportunity particularly in the Team event. For men’s sabre this is another step on the journey towards developing a strong team with a real focus now turning to Tokyo in four years time.”
