First Cadets Nominated for International Duty
We are pleased to announce that we have now updated the Cadet International section of this website, as we look forward to the start of the new season.
The first ‘nominated’* Cadet international event is the Men’s and Women’s Foil European Fencing Confederation (EFC) Circuit event in Budapest which takes place 1-2 October. Fifteen British fencers have been selected to take part in both the men’s and women’s individual event. See below for further detail.
The first ‘nominated’ Junior Sabre event is the Godollo EFC Circuit event, 8-9 October, for which fifteen men and women have been selected.
Epee fencers will take part in their first ‘nominated’ international event in Klagenfurt, Germany on 29-30 October. The athletes selected for this event will be announced on 26 September.
