Reporting to the Programme Manager, this role will be responsible for working across the organisation to co-ordinate marketing and communications. The purpose of the Marketing and Communications Co-ordinator is to work towards achieving the British Fencing vision for the future sustainability of the sport:
Vision – “A strong, successful and sustainable Fencing Community”
Mission – “To inspire and enable people to start, stay and succeed in fencing”
By working towards this vision and our objectives the Marketing and Communications Co-ordinator will be supported by staff across the organisation to achieve the following:
The successful candidate will have a passion for marketing and experience in using a variety of social media platforms, as well as experience in copywriting for online and social channels. Although having knowledge of fencing is not essential, having a desire to learn about the sport and the fencing community will be an important part of this role.

This is a profession which is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check will be required.
