The competition take place in November and in 2021 and 2022 was at the same time as Independence Day. Celebrations can restrict travel in the city centre.

Official transfers are available through the organisers. There is also an airport shuttle bus available which is easy to use. The BOLT app is used in Riga as an alternative to taxi’s.
