As part of the British Fencing “3G” strategy, and specifically the “Gold” aim to develop and train young talent, Alex Newton (British Fencing’s Performance Manager) has invited PHILIP MARSH (the Junior World Champion) to join the British team at the World Championships as an observer.   
 
The objective is to give Philip experience of the atmosphere and special competitor demands of a major championship. He will also be able to give sparring assistance to the epee contender Jon Willis.
