Sponsor Recognised for Backing of British Fencing
It has been announced that specialist insurers and British Fencing’s sponsor, Beazley have been shortlisted for the prestigious Hollis Sponsorship Award. They have been nominated in the “Sports Sponsorship (under £750k)” category and will be up against BT (Paralympic World Cup), Etihad (Harlequins RFC) and GE (British Triathlon). The awards ceremony is taking place on 27th March, 2012 at a black tie event in the London Marriott Grosvenor Square hotel.
Having been shortlisted Ian Hoy, Beazley’s Head of Sponsorship, said; “The first year of our sponsorship of British Fencing has been a great success and being shortlisted for this award is testament to that. We have been able to engage brokers, clients and employees through many activation activities including special events, athlete branding, PR, photography, branded merchandise and the dedicated www.beazleybritishfencing.com microsite. This has enabled a widely recognised association between Beazley and British Fencing. We hope that the campaign has not only been a success for Beazley but has been of huge benefit to British Fencing as well, creating a tangible and positive legacy for the sponsorship.”
British Fencing’s Director responsible for sponsorship added; “Being shortlisted for this Hollis Sponsorship Award is fantastic news. The strong partnership that we have built with Beazley has a significant and positive affect on all aspects of the work that we do at British Fencing.”
