BBC Radio 5 Launch “Gold Run” Documentary
Colin Murray to interview Britain’s last Olympic Gold Medallist, Gillian Sheen
In the last six months BBC Radio 5 Live’s presenter, Colin Murray, took on the biggest documentary project that the station has ever attempted – to interview every single living British Olympic Gold medallist. Gillian Sheen, a three times British Olympic fencer, won the Women’s Foil individual Gold medal at the 1952 Games in Melbourne and will therefore feature in this documentary.
BBC 5 Live will broadcast the show at 11am every Sunday in the lead up to the start of the Olympic Games, starting on Sunday 11th June.
