Since 2016 BF have had a Licensed Partner programme, namely working with larger organisations to help them train up their own staff to deliver fencing. Organisations like Center Parcs, PGL Travel Ltd, Inspiring Learning and Train with Premier have a huge sphere of influence and under the Licensed Partner Programme, it has meant that those organisations have a business model that has supported them in significantly increasing fencing opportunities and therefore participation.
The LPP has now evolved to offer two more categories of Licensed Partner. The first one is to deliver BF’s personal development programme aimed at Primary aged children but can go up to age 14 it has been found with partners delivery. The intent of the programme is to explore resilience from session one and then with the help of 36 lesson outcomes challenge a young person’s self-efficacy doing sport, physical activity and PE. The second category is about becoming an Official Training Partner; where you can deliver the personal development programme, train staff internally but also includes the service and products to train other teachers externally as well as receive an official designation from BF providing exclusivity within an area.
