British Fencing today announced the athletes selected to represent Great Britain at the Senior World Fencing Championships to be held in Budapest, Hungary, 5th – 12th August 2013.
The following athletes have been selected:-

Women’s Epee Individual
Corinna Lawrence
Men’s Sabre Individual and Team

Alex Crutchett
James Honeybone
Curtis Miller
Speaking about the selections, British Fencing’s Performance Director, Alex Newton said; “I would like to congratulate everyone who has been selected to represent GBR at these senior world championships. We had a good Europeans but the World Championships are always a very tough competition. However, the team is as prepared as any team we have had for a major Championships. I am confident that if the athletes can produce their best then we will get some performances that will challenge the best in the world. The team will leave on 3rd August for Budapest.”
