Coach Tutor: Norman Randall

Course Dates: 5th, 12th, 19th October, 2nd, 3rd, 16th November

28th September First Aid and Safeguarding and Protecting of Children

Times: 9.00am – 5.00pm each day (expect for the for the First Aid and Safeguarding and Protecting of Children courses on the 28th September which will run from 8.30am to 6pm)

Venue: Joseph Whitaker School, Warsop Lane, Rainworth, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire NG21 0AG (click here for map)

Cost: £275.00 (Includes Course Manual and First Aid and Safeguarding and Protecting of Children courses)

£195.00 – Course Only

£45.00 – First Aid

£35.00 – Safeguarding and Protecting Children

Holding a recent First Aid and Safeguarding and Protecting of Children are requirements of registration on the coach register. Certificates will not be issued until all registration requires have been met.

Entry Level Requirement. 1 year fencing experience. If you have been teaching Go Fence or Mini-fence and would like to make a transition to metal fencing, please discuss this with the course tutor prior to application.

Please note that candidates under the age of 18 will not be eligible to register as a coach and receive their qualification until they turn 18.

Applicants should send the registration form together with payment for the full course fee payable to British Fencing to Charlie Miller at [email protected] or by post to the National Development Administrator, British Fencing, 1 Baron’s Gate, 33-35 Rothschild Road, London W4 5HT. Applicants may be self-funding, or part or whole funded by their clubs and/or through their County Sports Partnership (Coach Development Officer) and/or through England Fencing (Development Grants).
