Men’s Epee Grand Prix – Berne

It was a quiet weekend on the main international circuit with just one event on the schedule in Berne, Switzerland.  Two British entries were amongst the field of 175 but neither made it through the first round as both Chris Greensides and Gareth Thomas were only able to win one of their six fights.

Sangyoung Park (KOR) defeated Ulrich Robeiri (FRA) 15-10 in the gold medal match whilst Inochi Ito (JPN) and Daniel Jerent (FRA) shared the bronze medal position.

GB placings:  Greensides 156th & Thomas 157th.
