This page contains a summary of the GBR Weapon Group Terms of Reference, which includes the responsibilities.
Purpose: The GBR Weapon Groups were set up to guide the development of weapon performance in the UK through a collaborative approach to coach and athlete development, training, selection, and preparation for competition.
Scope: The scope is within British Fencing ADP/GBR Programme (including specific nominated international and domestic competitions)

The group membership is based on roles, appointments and availability within the BF weapon community and will be reviewed annually before the start of the international season.

Applicants are expected to have evidence of building athlete development programmes to support medal-winning performances at major championships and evidence that they are engaged in personal development (for example, a current coaching health check).
