The introductory course will be led by Joseph Pearce, and is suitable for candidates with 12 months of fencing experience.
A new Introduction to Coaching Fencing (ITCF) course in London was added to the 2024 Coach Education calendar. Scheduled for the weekend of the 9th and 10th March 2024, the course will take place at St Bartholomew’s C. of E. Primary School, who are also one of BF’s partners in the We Are Forging Futures programme.
Candidates must have at least 12 months of fencing experience. The ITCF course prepares candidates to deliver group sessions for beginners in any of the three weapons. The minimum age to participate is 18 years old, but candidates aged 16+ can attend, with a recommendation from their coach.
