It is with great sadness that we report the death of Frank Mills, Chairman of British Veterans Fencing from 2008 to 2014.

He had a recurrence of cancer that he seemed to have conquered earlier this year.

He faced his final battle with grace, dignity and fortitude and was grateful that he could be at home with his family at the end.

He leaves behind many friends in the fencing world who remember him for his warmth and sense of humour.
