The amended bye-laws allow for additional time to run the BF Board Elections and for the appointment of a third party to manage the nominations process.
Timescales set out in the original BF bye-laws did not allow for the election process to be managed by a third party electoral administrator under standard contracted terms.
In addition to setting new timescales, the amendments also allow for the online submission of a nomination by the candidate online. There are additional clarifications in relation to the permissions required from nominating members and the process to check they are valid.
The amended bye-laws are published here.
