ENTRIES OPEN FOR D/E/U EVENT IN SEPTEMBER

BF is hosting a D/E/U Ratings foil event in Nottingham on the 14th September 2024.

BF are hosting another D/E/U event on September 14th 2024 in Nottingham, alongside the Cadet and Junior Nationals. This is a great opportunity for D-, E- and U-rated foil fencers to experience competitive fencing against others of a similar ability.

In April 2024, BF held a D/E/U event alongside the British Senior Nationals, for foil and epee fencers. Fencers of all ages attended the event including novices, students and veterans of many decades.

The men’s and women’s epee was won by Reggie Chamberlain-Wilde and Megan Upton, and the men’s foil was won by Matthew Abrahams and the women’s by Amelia Price.

Matthew Abrahams, competing for the first time after a break from fencing was thrilled with the experience: “It’s definitely worth doing, it is an amazing facility, you get a great day, you get lots of fencing in. I’d say get out and try it!”
