BF has six affiliated home nation associations, which are as follows:
Jersey Fencing
All members are required to affiliate with their chosen home nation. The Home Country you should join usually depends on where you live. If you wish to represent another Home Country because of where you were born or ancestry then there are some restrictions and rules. Please contact the individual Home Countries for more information.
40% of BF Membership fees are passed onto the Home Country Associations based on the affiliations of the individual members. Home Countries are typically responsible for the grass roots development of fencing which includes supporting Clubs, Regions and L1-2 volunteer development. Home Countries are also responsible for home nation representational selection and management of associated teams eg Commonwealth Fencing Championships.
England Fencing use some of their income to fund the role of Club and Regions Development Officer working as part of BF to support Clubs and Regions and to provide additional safeguarding resources in England.
