In order to enter the Veterans World Championships in Daytona Beach in October 2023, entrants will need an FIE licence for the 2022-23 season.
Please note that while these licences expire on 31st August 2023 and the competition is taking place in October 2023, these are the correct licences that entrants will need to take part in the championships as a licence is needed for the previous season.
As the new season is about to start, applying for an FIE licence on Sport80 now automatically defaults to applying for a licence for the 2023-24 season. In order for British Fencing to know which licence you require, please apply for a licence via Sport80, and then email [email protected] as soon as you have applied to clarify that you will need a licence for the 2022-23 season instead.
BF will then be able to order you the correct licence from the FIE and update your Sport80 account to reflect this.
