Fight Analysis Tool
The Fight Analysis Tool below is a simple spreadsheet allowing the fencer to capture their results after a competition. It should be used by fencers to review their competitions, recognise what has gone well and to identify where improvement can be made in their future performances. It also provides a guide in when to select more challenging competitions:

Return to Training Protocols (Returning to training after a break)
These return to training protocols were developed during COVID, to support athletes returning to fencing after illness or a long break. The purpose of the return to training protocol below is to assess the fencer’s athletic readiness to return to fencing-specific training, and if required, to help S&C experts and trained professionals design a progressive training programme on their return to training.
Return to Training Protocols
If you are returning to fencing after an illness or injury we recommend you consult sports science and medical experts to support your return to fencing.
