“I started fencing aged 8 as part of a school program, run by my local club at Truro. I was hooked from the beginning and was fortunate enough to be coached by Jon Salfield, who is still my personal coach. After I finished my A-levels I spent a year training with the national team in Hungary. I had an amazing time training with some of the best fencers in the world, but I was really happy to move back to London and continue training with my own team in 2019. I’ve been in London since then, combining training with full-time study. I had some of my best success on the Junior World Cup Circuit in 2019, finishing ranked 7th in the World. I’m looking to have more success at Senior level as I go for my dream of qualifying for the Olympics in 2024.”
