Following member consultation the BF Board has approved the 2021 Senior European Selection Policy,
The EFC has confirmed that the 2021 Senior European Championships will be held in Plovdiv (BUL) from 15 to 20.06.2021.
Following review by the Senior Athlete Panel, the Board, the ADP team and the selectors, a draft of the GBR 2021 Senior Europeans Selection Policy was made available for wider consultation on 18th March. The consultation period closed on the 25th March.
The BF Board would like to thank all those that responded to the consultation.
In particular the Board and Exec team noted the desire expressed by some athletes to align qualification standards with the published Pathway Standards particularly around % finishes and this will be considered for future selection policies. For the 2021 Senior Europeans Selection Policy this is included as a factor in discretionary selection.

There were no material changes made to the policy as a result of the consultation.
