Bookings are now open for three coaching courses offered between the 18th and 22nd July. Don’t miss out!
King Edward VI School will be hosting another eventful BF Coach Development Week this coming summer. The event includes three Foil, Epee, and Sabre coaching courses:
Given the success of our previous courses, we will offer the hybrid version of the Introduction to Coaching Fencing course. This format enables candidates to commence studying the theoretical content up to 90 days before their final face-to-face assessment day.
This course format is explained in this quick guide.
CFL2 (Coaching Fencing Level 2) is designed for coaches transitioning to individual coaching sessions with specific weapons. The course will be conducted by three different specialists, each focusing on one weapon, allowing for up to 12 candidates per weapon.
WS3 (Weapon Specific Level 3) trains coaches with a number of years of experience and who are coaching athletes on a Performance and High Performance pathway. Led by two Coach Developers, the course has 12 spaces available.
We have received expressions of interest for another WS3 course in the North of England, and continue to gather requests through this form.
The breakdown of each course’s content and pre-requisites can be found here. If you have any questions, please contact Marjorie Kuhne.
