COMMUNITY DISCUSSION EVENT: BYCS Q&A

A BF Community Discussion Event to take place aimed at parents, carers, coaches and fencers attending the BYCs for the first time in 2025.

In the latest addition to the Community Discussion Series, we invite parents, carers and coaches who have fencers attending the British Youth Championships (BYCs) to a presentation and Q and A session on  Tuesday 22nd April 2025 at 12 noon and 6pm.

The event will be aimed towards those attending their first BYCs, and will cover topics such as what to expect at the event, and how you can help to best prepare your fencers ahead of the competition.

The session will cover:

• What happens at the BYCs
• What you should do to prepare before the event
• Fencing Time Live 101 – how to read and use the competition software
• Information on the accreditation process
• Introduction of key staff attending the event
