British Fencing’s Achievement Awards are pivotal in promoting excellence and development within the sport. As part of the “We Are Forging Futures” network, these awards provide a structured way to recognise the accomplishments of participants across various levels.

The programme is divided into two main sets of awards: MiniSwords and Go/Fence. MiniSwords is designed to enhance young fencers’ agility, balance, and coordination, laying a foundational skill set crucial for advancing in the sport. Meanwhile, the Go/Fence awards focus on basic fencing competencies, ensuring participants understand and can apply fundamental techniques effectively.
