Overview

The Board of British Fencing (BF) is responsible for the overall governance, development and management of the sport of fencing in GB.  The Board sets the strategic direction of the sport and consists of twelve Directors, of whom eight are elected and four appointed by the Board.

In the 2013-17 funding period British Fencing has been awarded a total of £4.18m from UK Sport and £2.5m from Sport England. Whilst a relatively small sport, it is gaining in popularity and this role provides a hugely exciting opportunity to transform an Olympic sport by capitalising on this level of interest.
