In recognition of the strength of the EFC Under 23 Championships held in Tallinn, Estonia, the multiplier provided using the ranking scheme for this event was not appropriate.
In agreement with the Pathways Director, the ADP Leads and the Ranking Manager, the decision has been taken to fix the multiplier for this event to 1000.
As the event is not an Open, this event cannot appear on the Senior BF rankings and therefore would not skew or impact Senior selections. However, it fairly reflect the level of the performances of those athletes who attended the event in the respective Under 23 BF Rankings. Our intention for the next season will be to fix the multiplier for this event to the same value for consistency. This will also be reflected in the 2022/2023 Ranking Scheme document and on the GBR calendars.
