Five courses ranging from level 1 to 3 and a Safeguarding course will be offered in the West Midlands and South East regions. next July.
The list of BF courses has been updated with five coaching and one safeguarding course, all of them scheduled for July.
In the South East region, aspiring coaches can choose between two Introduction to Coaching Fencing (ITCF) courses: in Epsom on 23rd and 24th July, and in Sevenoaks on 30th and 31st July. A Coaching Fencing Level 2 (CFL2) is being planned for later this year, and more ITCF may be scheduled depending on the level of interest.
The other three coaching courses will take place in Stratford-upon-Avon, for the Coach Development Week traditionally hosted at King Edward VI School. Between the 25th and 30th of July, we will be offering an ITCF, a CFL2, and a Weapon Specific Level 3 course (WS3).
A face-to-face UK Coaching Safeguarding and Protecting Children (SPC) course will happen in the evening of the 26th, open to coaches who want to become registered or need to update this mandatory training for the Coach Register (read more about this and other requirements here).
Important note: the online version of the UK Coaching SPC course is also accepted for the Coach Register, as well as BF’s Online Renewal SPC course. Please note that we can only accept the renewal course if you have attended a full course (either face-to-face or online) no longer than three years before.
