British Fencing extends cover for coaches to include overseas work
British Fencing is pleased to announce the extension of the coaches public liability insurance. Registered coaches will now be covered whilst performing coaching activities when travelling abroad as part of an organised British Fencing club trip.
This would cover a coach taking a group of club fencers abroad to a training camp, where they are delivering coaching services both to their pupils and other non British Fencing member fencers.
The cover is limited to trips of no more than three consecutive weeks and no more than three months total in any one calendar year.
Speaking about the enhancements to the benefits offered to coaches, Workforce and Business Development Officer, Charlie Miller said; “We are always looking for ways to support the work of our hardworking registered coaches. Thanks to the support of Beazley, this important addition to the insurance cover will be welcomed by a number of coaches who are active on trips and training camps abroad.”
