Please note:

Changes will occur at short notice – All calendars (FIE, EFC and BF) will be subject to change, and in some cases, this is happening at very short notice due to circumstances outside of BF’s control.

Nomination & selection timescales may be compressed – Selections for nominated international competitions are typically scheduled seven weeks from the competition date. BF reserves the right to use shorter notice periods for some selections where the necessary information is unavailable (for example, we may not have received the reglements/official information, the date of competition has changed, the competition is cancelled, and a replacement is scheduled earlier).

General Reminders for all EFC & FIE events:

Entry & Exit Requirements – Athletes and parents must review any requirements to enter those countries. Athletes and parents must also ensure they understand the requirements for returning to the UK or their respective countries.

EFC & FIE Licenses must be purchased via the BF membership platform. This is a requirement to enter into international events. For more information, click here.

Passport expiration dates should be checked against any requirements – e.g., some countries require passports to be valid for six months after departure.
