EFC & FIE LICENCE RENEWAL UPDATE

With almost 1000 EFC & FIE licences due to expire at the end of August, the GBR Support team is working hard to support the renewal process. Please bear with us as response times may be impacted and check the published FAQs before contacting us.

Unlike the BF membership which can be setup at any point in the year (with renewal dates falling 12 months later), the EFC and FIE licences all expire at the same time of the year – the 31st August.

Members of BF account for almost 1000 EFC & FIE licences – these are not only required for athletes but also coaches, referees and other postholders.

To help us support the community as efficiently as possible through thus renewal process please:

  1. Follow the instructions online. Particularly note that we don’t set the rules or the process around the GDPR form, so where you are asked to sign and upload one please make sure you carefully follow the instructions or the FIE will simply reject it.
  2. If you a fencer competing in the World Veteran Championships in October 2024 you do not need the 24-25 FIE licence, you need the 23-24 FIE licence as this event is considered the end of the 23-24 Veteran season.
  3. Before contacting us check this page for instructions and answers to the most common queries – FIE/EFC LICENCES.  The majority of questions are being asked are already answered on this page.
