ENTRIES OPEN FOR BUCS INDIVIDUAL CHAMPIONSHIPS 2024-25

Entries are open for the BUCS Individual Fencing Championships, run by British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) in partnership with BF. This event is part of BUCS Nationals 2025.

The BUCS Fencing Championships are returning as part of BUCS Nationals. This is a national event open to current university students.

Date: Friday 14th – Sunday 16th February 2025

Time: 8:00am – 8:00pm

Cost: £45 per entry

Location: Park Community Arena, Park Community Arena/Canon Medical Arena, Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park, Worksop Road, Sheffield, Yorkshire, S9 3TL, United Kingdom

Entry is online here through BUCS Play.

Entries will close at 11:59pm on Tuesday 21st January 2025 for students.

Institutional Administrators are given 48 hours after the student/competitor deadline to approve entries (11.59pm on Thursday 23rd January 2025).

This competition operates a staged entry process. Entries received before the Stage 1 entry closing date (Thursday 23rd January 2025 at 11.59pm) will be accepted where the competition allows. After this deadline, Stage 2 entry may open where the competition allows and will have a closing date of Thursday 30th January at 11.59pm. Please note Stage 2 is not guaranteed to open.

Priority will remain with the entries received before the Stage 1 entry closing date. Entries received after the Stage 1 entry closing date and before the Stage 2 entry closing date that are accepted into the competition, will be charged an additional 20% fee. Late entries will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Fencers may only compete in the BUCS Championships if they are in possession of a current British Fencing Compete licence. British Fencing Recreational Licenses and FIE Licences will not be accepted. You must produce proof of your license (Full license) when registering for the Championships.
