Level 4 (Mock FIE) examinations to take place during the British Open Championships 2024.
At this stage, BF is requesting all candidates who are interested complete this form: Expression of Interest Form
Please note that an up-to-date referee log is required to be uploaded as part of the entry process.
Deadline to complete the expression of interest: 31st May 2024, 5pm.
All candidates will be told if they have an examination place by Wednesday 5th June 2024.
The exam will consist of a seminar, written theory exam and video refereeing exam, as well as a practical observation with feedback.
The Level 4 (Mock FIE) exam is open to everyone holding a full Level 3 Referee certificate and to members of the Referee Pathway Programme. Those referees who successfully pass this exam and do not wish to develop as an international FIE referee will be awarded a BF National Referee Level 4 certificate.
Please note that spaces are limited, and priority will be given to those referees expected to take their FIE Examinations in 2024.
Due to scheduling, candidates should also be available for an evening session (6pm start) on Friday 12th.

2024: free to 2024 GBR FIE exam candidates.
