BF has a range of courses for the whole community and a dedicated page where you can find more information and booking forms. Whether you are an aspiring coach, want to become a Welfare Officer or to qualify as a referee in a different weapon, there is something for you.
The February and March calendars include two refereeing courses and one coaching course:
In response to demand for coaching courses in the University space, BF is organising a special event in parallel on the 12th and 13th March. The University Fencing Officer Coach Development Weekend will take place in Manchester and will be offered to candidates interested in the Voluntary Role of University Fencing Officer (UFO). If you are part of the BF registered workforce and need to complete training to comply with the BF registers minimum requirements, there are some training courses you must complete. Some of them need to be renewed periodically. The list of mandatory courses may include training offered by BF or by other providers. You can find out more about them here:
if you can’t find a course you are interested in, get in touch by completing an Expression of Interest form and BF will contact you when something you like is on.
