On the 19th October, we took part in the ParalympicsGB Discover Your Paralympic Potential Day in Crawley.
Last Saturday at the K2 centre in Crawley, BF Inclusion Officer (Disability) Rick Rodgers and local coaches Alice and Cheryl showcased the opportunities available through participation in wheelchair fencing at the ParalympicsGB Discover Your Paralympic Potential Day.
The ParalympicsGB Discover your Paralympic Potential Day is an opportunity for disabled people to find sports that interest them. They can also connect with the NGBs and NDSOs to find out how they can progress through the Paralympics pathways and thrive in their chosen activities. BF took part in the event to share information about fencing opportunities in participants’ local areas and enjoyed connecting with everyone who attended. BF has attended previous Discover Your Paralympic Potential Days, such as the event in Nottingham earlier this year.
The next Discover Your Paralympic Potential day will take place on the 9th November 2024 in Sheffield. Find out more and sign up here.
