BF is working with the Ukrainian Fencing Federation to connect members of the Ukrainian fencing community fleeing Ukraine with BF members in the UK willing to offer their homes under the UK Government ‘Homes for Ukraine’ scheme.
BF is currently working with the Ukrainian Fencing Federation to help connect Ukrainian fencing families with hosts (‘Sponsors’) from the fencing community in the UK, under the Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme (Homes for Ukraine).

We recognise that the ability for people to remain involved with their sports will be an important aspect of adapting to life in the UK. By offering homes within our fencing community with opportunities to attend local clubs we hope that we can better support Ukrainian fencing families during this time.
If you are interested in being a Sponsor please complete this form and we will do our best to match you with one of the families or individuals looking for a home in the UK. We will start off by providing you with the basic information (number of people/names/ages/gender) of families that match the information you provide.
If you would like to take it to the next stage we will facilitate a direct connection between you and the family/individual seeking a home. This process will be supported by a team of BF volunteers (which will include Welfare Officers).
Once the connections are made and both parties decide to go ahead, you as the Sponsor (together with the person/people arriving) will still need to go through the UK Government process (as set out here: Homes for Ukraine).
