John Rees and Kate Smith are organising a coach CPD day for Foil and Epee coaches with coach educators from Italy.
British Fencing are proud to be supporting an event being organised by John Rees and Kate Smith in which coaches will have the opportunity to share with and learn from Italian Coach Educators.
Present on the day will be young foil and epee students with coaches looking at ways in which to develop them; for example, identifying tactical shortcomings and devising lessons to address them.
“We hope to make this an environment to develop cooperatively and challenge out preconceptions of what coaching and coach development looks like” said John Rees.
The event is similar to one held last year which received fantastic feedback.
