Two introductory courses have been added to the 2025 Coach Education calendar in partnership with PGL, BF’s Official Have-A-Go Partner.
The Coach Education calendar has two new ITCF (Introduction To Coaching Fencing) courses scheduled between February and March with 12 places available.
For these courses, PGL and BF will offer benefits for participants: free accommodation (a DBS check and a valid BF membership are required to access this benefit) and free meals. Candidates will have the chance to discover the beautiful locations of the centres and get to know other course participants in their free time.
ITCF is the first step in your coaching journey. This two day course will teach you the skills to conduct beginner group sessions and create a positive environment to help new fencers feel included in the sport.
ITCF is for you if you have had at least 12 months of fencing experience.

The Wiltshire centre is situated only a few minutes from the M4 near Swindon.
