The EFC invite annually each federation to nominate referees to be included in their Master List. This list is used to select referees for all European Championships and A grade competitions.
To be eligible for selection the referee must hold a minimum of two FIE referee licences and be actively refereeing for their federation. Further information regarding the eligibility for the nomination to the Master list can be found here
British Fencing runs this nomination process as part of the international allocations process, inviting eligible referees to express their interest before submitting those to the international selection committee.
