We’re proud to be supporting Mental Health Awareness Week, taking place between the 13th and 19th May 2024. This year’s theme is ‘movement’.
Since 2001, the Mental Health Foundation has been bringing people across the UK for Mental Health Awareness Week, and promoting good mental health and wellbeing. This year, the theme is “movement: moving more for your mental health”.
Getting active is one of the most important things that we can do in order to protect our mental health. As well as preventing and treating a range of illnesses, regular physical activity also helps us to improve our mental health and wellbeing. From reducing stress and promoting social interaction, to helping us to feel better about our bodies, physical activity has a variety of benefits.
