BF creates networking group for University Fencing Clubs
British Fencing is creating a networking group for university fencing clubs. Comprised of a mixture of club officials, university fencing officers, and Athletic or student union representatives, the purpose of the group is to strengthen the student offering in the higher education sector. The group is open to all universities in the UK.
The primary aim of the group is to create a community of practice that shares ideas to help grow and sustain the clubs. Our latest insight revealed there are over 3000 fencers that participate at over 70 Universities in the UK. We also recognise that for some participants, their first experience of fencing will come whilst in higher education.
The first online meeting will take place at the beginning of July, for further information please contact [email protected].
