Why join BF as a NED?
Throughout these recent challenging times, British Fencing has continued to work hard to support our members, clubs and delivery partners – adapting and innovating to overcome the restrictions we have faced and keep our communities supported and informed through increased collaboration and communication. Our priority now is on the restart and recovery of grassroots fencing from a strong foundation, supported by our funding partners Sport England and UK Sport. For our performance fencers, it is an exciting time as we were awarded Progression funding from UK Sport in Dec 2020 and our participation programmes like Muslim Girls Fence, funded by Sport England, provide a foundation for our Sport for Social Change ambitions.
