Track and Trace Fencing with Playwaze

BF launches free online system to support Return to Fencing attendee recording requirements.

The current Return to Fencing guidance remains in place in England and it is vital that all clubs record session attendees accurately so they can be traced efficiently. In order to facilitate this, BF is pleased to announce the launch of a new, user-friendly online system powered by Playwaze. Clubs can use the system to support the NHS Test and Trace programme.

In accordance with BF’s Return to Fencing guidelines, all clubs are required to have a Covid-19 officer and a track and trace system in place.

Hannah Gavin, Development Officer for clubs and regions says, “Clubs need an online system that can be accessed easily in case they have to contact fencing session participants. Paper systems are easily lost and handwriting is sometimes hard to read. An easy, digital system is ideal.”

The system is powered by Playwaze, in a new partnership with BF. Alongside the tracking functionality, Playwaze is also powering the evolved BF activity finder that will display clubs, sessions (both virtual/online and physical) and On Demand videos.

Josh Hegarty, Customer Success Manager at Playwaze says, “We are looking forward to sharing more information about the activity finder but appreciate the demand for a simple, easy to use tracking system is a priority for clubs at this time. We’re here to help.”

The system is accessible for BF affiliated clubs and club profiles are ready to be ‘claimed’ by club officials.

Live webinars are available to help clubs access and navigate the platform, including more information on track and trace. Recordings of the webinars are available to registered attendees. For more information about the Playwaze platform and to register for a webinar please click here.
